What is the cogs calculator?
Your supplier's invoice price is not your cost of goods. Landed cost includes packaging, inbound freight, import duty and any labour applied before the item is sellable. This calculator totals those inputs across a production run and divides by units, giving the per-unit figure every other calculator on this site depends on.
How to use it
- 1Enter your materials / supplier cost and units produced.
- 2Adjust labour, packaging, inbound freight and duty & customs if they apply — leave them as they are if not.
- 3Press Calculate. Results update instantly, so you can change a number and compare.
- 4Read the total cogs and landed cost per unit first — those are the numbers that decide the call.
- 5Save the result to your account if you want to come back to it later.
